Cheval Collection launches nine apartments in Edinburgh

Cheval Collection has announced the launch of Abbey Strand Apartments at Holyrood in the heart of Edinburgh.

The new residence comprises nine apartments housed in one of Edinburgh's oldest building. They consist of four open-plan studios, four one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment.

The company said that the new residence, which offers views of Arthur's Seat, will bring together "a rich past with a contemporary lifestyle", featuring historic fireplaces across the apartments' characterful spaces.

The apartments, which are available to book from one night to one year or more, are all named after historic figures associated with the Abbey Strand buildings, with the history of each "interwoven into the guest journey".

The launch is part of an agreement between Mohammed S Almarzooqi, managing director of the Cheval Collection, and Chris Stewart, chief executive of the Chris Stewart Group (CSG), the developer of the properties.

The Abbey Strand Apartments at Holyrood joins two other Cheval properties, the Edinburgh Grand and Old Town Chambers, with all three adding a further 109 new apartments to the company's portfolio of 512 apartments across its eight London Residences.

In February this year Cheval Collection's luxury service apartments in west London reopened following a two-year, multimillion-pound redevelopment.
