Camm & Hooper to operate events at Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station has appointed Camm & Hooper to operate events within the building's unique Generator Hall and three other spaces.
Set to open in 2021, the event spaces within the Grade II*-listed property, known collectively as Battersea Power House, will be used for large-scale hospitality functions, conferences, music gigs, industry awards, fashion shows and product launches.
Camm & Hooper will be responsible for operating the events in the Generator Hall, a triple-height space that will become one of the largest event venues in London, capable of accommodating up to 1,400 guests; Control Room A, for up to 250 guests, which is being restored to its 1930s grandeur and retaining the dials that were once used to power a fifth of London's electricity; and three other spaces including a terrace with wide riverside views.
Executive chef Ronnie Murray, formerly of Hix Restaurants, is creating the menus for the outlets, while cocktails will be created by Camm & Hooper's chief beverage engineer Patrick Hobbs to reflect the iconic nature of the art deco power station and its destination overlooking the River Thames.

Camm & Hooper's venues include Banking Hall, Leadenhall and Victorian Bath House in the City of London; Six Storeys townhouse in Soho; and Morton Society, Tanner Warehouse and Tanner & Co Restaurant in Bermondsey.
The wider £9b Battersea Power Station development owned by a consortium of Malaysian investors covers 42 acres and comprises more than 4,200 homes, shops, restaurants, offices and 19 acres of public spaces.
