AA reveals Food Service Award shortlist

AA Hospitality has announced the three restaurants in the running for its annual award that recognises best customer service .

French at the Midland hotel in Manchester; Moor Hall in Ormskirk, Lancashire; and the Ritz London (pictured) have all been shortlisted for the AA Food Service Award, the winner of which will be revealed at the AA Hospitality Awards in September.

The award recognises restaurants that deliver excellent standards of service and hospitality from teams which deliver the highest technical service skills and food and beverage knowledge.

Simon Numphud, managing director of AA Media, said: "Good service is an essential aspect of an enjoyable dining experience and the three shortlisted establishments are all excellent examples of high-quality customer service."

Last year's winner of the award was Margot in London.

The winner of this year's accolade will be revealed on 23 September at the AA Hospitality Award ceremony at Grosvenor House, London, hosted by broadcast journalist Kate Silverton.
