Aramark wins seven-year contract with South Gloucestershire and Stroud College

Aramark has signed a seven-year contract to provide catering services at to South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS).

The caterer will have responsibility for all catering, food retail and hospitality services across the college's six campus' and 15,500 staff and employees.

Lawrence Shirazian, managing director, Aramark Food Services UK, said: "We are delighted to be beginning a new partnership with SGS. We hope to transform the catering service at SGS and reinvent campus life. Our new food offering is designed to meet student and staff's varying needs, with an emphasis on healthy, fresh and affordable food."

Andy Slaney, chief operations officer at SGS added: "We were very impressed with how team Aramark engaged with us throughout the tender process and really listened carefully to our objectives and fully took them on board.

"Aramark's wealth of experience operating within the education sector clearly came through in our conversations - as did their drive to enhance the students' daily college experience."
