Hotel development opportunity in Anglesey comes to market
A hotel development opportunity on the Isle of Anglesey has come to the market off a guide price of £2m.
Planning permission has been granted for the development of a 12-bedroom boutique hotel with two residential penthouses on the coast in Rhosneigr.
The three-storey project in North Wales will cover 8,848 sq ft and be situated within 150m of Traeth Crigyll Beach and a 500m walk to Treth Llydan Beach.
The hotel will be located on the ground and first floor, with access to a restaurant, bar and 12 bedrooms.
Two residential penthouse apartments, each consisting of two double ensuite bedrooms, a third double bedroom, a kitchen, living area and roof terrace, will occupy the second floor.
The plans include parking space for up to 14 vehicles and an additional cycle parking facility.
Martin Davis, director of hotels and leisure at Graham + Sibbald, who marketed the project, said: "This development represents a rare and unique opportunity to develop an exciting and inspiring property in a prime location. The hotel will offer unrivalled views of Traeth Crigyll Beach and the Irish Sea as well as the Snowdonia Mountain range.
"This hotel is expected to bring about more local employment and will enhance the local tourist market offer and economy. We expect strong demand from applicants and buyers looking to invest in this highly sought-after tourist location."
The proposals were designed by N C Architecture, in conjunction with advisors Emery Planning Consultants, Condor Hotels and Blackthorn Design Studio.
