Angelo Albera has been appointed executive chef of Il Pampero in the Hari hotel in London's Knightsbridge.
He has over 30 years' experience in the industry, having travelled around the UK, Italy, Switzerland and the UAE over the course of his career in fine dining restaurants and luxury hotels.

The wine list at Il Pampero features a selection from Umbria, Trentino and Tuscany.
Commenting on his appointment, Albera said: "I'm really excited to join the Hari team and lead the restaurant for such an iconic Belgravia hotel. I have a big passion for championing local producers and believe in creating delicious, authentic Italian food. I'm also committed to cooking as sustainably as possible, and I'm completely aligned with The Hari's zero waste initiatives. I look forward to serving up something a little different for guests and Londoners at il Pampero."
Andrew Coney, general manager at the Hari, added: "It's a real pleasure to welcome Angelo to the team. With his enthusiasm and expert knowledge I am confident that he will effectively elevate and refine the offering at il Pampero, to ensure guests and diners have a truly memorable experience at our Belgravia bolthole."
