Aiden Byrne's new venture ripped apart by critic
Matthew Norman ripped apart former Dorchester Grill chef Aiden Byrne's The Church Green in Lymm, Cheshire, in his latest review.
In a scathing critique the Guardian food critic did not hold back and described the Church Green as "a slapdash mishmash verging on a car crash".
AA Gill was no kinder to Daylesford Organic in London's Westbourne Grove in his latest write-up.
He gave the restaurant a perversely impressive no stars, and said it was so far out of step with the recession-shaped eating out market and want customers now want, that it could now serve as a sort of parable of what not to do for the wider restaurant trade.
