A Taste of McClements leaves critic uncertain
Marina O'Loughlin visits a Taste of McClements in South-west London.
The Metro critic finds the food is generally good, and sometimes "ace", but the hushed silence anachronistic and the procession of different serving dishes, trays, platters and cutlery overwhelming. The price, however, is a pleasant surprise.
Guy Dimond, Time Out, finds London's Commander shows a distinct lack of command over its high prices and, for essentially a pub, a limited range of beers on offer.
However, the friendly atmosphere and imaginative wine list are a plus.
