Ten Seafood Pub Company inns put on the market
Ten pubs which operated as part of the Seafood Pub Company have been put on the market following the businesses' fall into administration earlier this year.
Christie & Co has been instructed by administrators BDO LLP to sell the portfolio of award-winning managed inns and pubs.
The properties are spread across affluent areas of the North West of England and Yorkshire and include 62 letting rooms across seven of the sites.
Seafood Pub Company, which was founded by Jocelyn Neve in 2010, filed for administration in June after failing to secure a Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan (CBIL) or raise additional funding from investors.
Noel Moffitt, senior director of corporate pubs and restaurants at Christie & Co, said: "Initial feedback from prospective purchasers has been overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating the strength of demand for well invested managed houses across the UK.
"Despite being currently closed, these sites can be reopened immediately post completion, with significant potential for growth across food, wet and accommodation revenues.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for buyers of all sizes to increase their portfolios with as many of these well-positioned assets as they have the appetite for."
All ten pubs are in good quality condition, having recently received £7m capital expenditure.
Christie & Co said offers are invited for the portfolio as a whole, as distinct sub-groups or for individual assets, with significant interest expected.
