Molton Brown launches first ever hotel-exclusive collection with the Athenaeum
British fragrance brand Molton Brown has announced its first ever hotel-exclusive collection with the Athenaeum in London's Mayfair.
The deal, the amount of which has not been disclosed, will see Molton Brown's newly launched Reviving Rosemary collection in the luxury hotel's guest rooms and public spaces.
The range has been created using rosemary and tamanu oil.
The hotel will include the use of the brand's refillable double and triple dispenser solutions for bath and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as glass bottles in a bid to reduce waste.
Steve Clark, senior director retail and hotel at Molton Brown, said: "Hotel guests today want luxury and sustainability to go hand-in-hand, and this is something that we at Molton Brown have believed in since the very beginning.
"We are very pleased to bring this to life in such an iconic setting as the Athenaeum, which is a true landmark for London and the British hotel sector."
Joanne Taylor-Stagg, general manager at the Athenaeum said: "As the first hotel globally to introduce their new Reviving Rosemary collection with its refillable solutions and offer it to guests as bathroom amenities, we are proud to provide our guests with an eco-conscious luxury experience that aligns with our shared ethos of responsible living."
The Athenaeum has various strategies in place with the aim of increasing its sustainable and eco-friendly credentials including a 329sq m ‘Living Wall' installed in 2009 which the hotel said removes 757kg of carbon dioxide every year. In addition, it has eliminated single-use plastic throughout the premises.
