First London hotel designed by Martin Brudnizki to open September 2021
A new 57-bedroom hotel called the Broadwick Soho is set to open next September and will be the first hotel in London designed by Martin Brudnizki, behind Annabel's and Sexy Fish.
Situated on the crossroads between Broadwick Street and Berwick Street, the site is privately owned by a "group of friends" and trading under Broadwick Street Holdings.
It will be an independent luxury hotel "inspired by the area's creativity" with "cosy yet opulent surroundings". Brudnizki has taken inspiration from the gritty glamour, but also eclectic and diverse history, of Soho, describing the hotel as "your eccentric godmother's Soho townhouse".
The 57 residential-style guestrooms will include one penthouse and nine suites with many rooms offering private balconies.
The food and beverage concepts will be operated in partnership with Jamie Poulton and chef Ed Baines, founders of Soho seafood restaurant Randall & Aubin, and will include an Italian restaurant with a street level terrace. The rooftop cocktail bar will offer casual dining and drinking, and there will also be a rooftop terrace.
Rates will start from £350 per night.
