Sponsored article: Consumers seek natural, trusted foods

Today more than ever, consumers are looking for natural products that they trust to help reassure them in their daily consumption of food.

Increasingly consumers are scrutinising the food they eat to ensure that it fits with their healthy lifestyle, as well as their ethical and environmental values. In particular, younger consumers are searching for transparency; as the research company Mintel has reported, 65 percent of UK consumers aged 16 to 24 years old "prefer to be associated with companies and brands that respect my values".

At MANE, we aim to deliver great tasting food. We carefully choose and respect the ingredients we use.

Sustainable stocks using fresh, simple ingredients

Our international chefs have developed a natural range of stocks made with a short, simple list of tasty ingredients.

We constantly invest in our supply chain integrating all processes from the farm to our solutions ensuring we do so through open and honest relationships. We have established long-term partnerships with local producers, which allows us to have direct access to responsibly sourced ingredients, and guarantees sustainable and natural products for our customers.

All the concentrated meat, seafood and vegetable juices used in our stocks are made internally providing optimum transparency and traceability. And our production site is close to the farms that we source our ingredients from which helps to preserve freshness. Having this backward integration enables us to have full control at each stage of manufacture.

Reducing waste

With the current spotlight on the positive impact the pandemic has had on the environment, consumers are keen to see that companies are helping to reduce waste as this will improve the health of the planet. According to Mintel, 72 percent of UK adults try to act in a way that is not harmful to the planet. At MANE reducing our environmental impact is integral to our business; as part of our commitment to use resources sustainably, our clean label stocks range is made with upcycled ingredients from trusted farms.

Chef created

As experts, our chefs know how to create balanced, tasty stocks with meat, seafood and vegetable profiles and are able to customise these stocks to suit your specific requirements. As well as this clean label range, we have a wide portfolio of stocks that meet different consumer expectations.
