Roe
Dubliner Simon Whiteside's first solo restaurant Roe has opened in London's Pop Brixton shipping container development, focusing on sustainable seafood from the British and Irish coast.
Whiteside, the co-founder of seafood restaurant Hook in Camden, has opened the site with his wife Cairene without investors.
The cocktail menu features spirits from the Sustainable Spirit Co alongside a small selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. Guests sit at two communal tables made from reclaimed wood.

Brera Riverside
Brera Café in London's Canary Wharf has relaunched following a refurbishment and a rebrand as Brera Riverside. The space is divided into a bar, lounge and dining room, acting as a café by day and restaurant by evening.

Lodore Falls spa
Lodore Falls hotel has opened its new Falls spa, the final phase of a £10m redevelopment of the hotel in Keswick, Cumbria. The new spa features a 16m outdoor infinity-edge vitality pool, a glass-fronted Finnish sauna, a four-person mud rasul, four thermal suites and a Champagne bar. The launch includes 18 new Scandi-inspired spa suites with complimentary access to the spa.
