Gather & Gather wins £1.5m catering contract with London Metropolitan University

Gather & Gather has won a £1.5m contract to provide catering and hospitality at London Metropolitan University for two years.

The agreement, which started on 1 August, sees the foodservice company work across the university's two campuses on Holloway Road and at Aldgate.

Catering facilities for students, staff and visitors include a street vendor concept through Gather & Gather's partnership with Karnivalfood and a new artisan coffee offer.

Elizabeth McGowan, head of events, hospitality and business services for London Metropolitan University, said: "We look forward to working collaboratively with Gather & Gather to bring our university community exciting food experiences on campus, providing the nutrition needed to support our learning community, while, of course, being great value for money."

Rob Fredrickson, managing director for Gather & Gather, added that the new concepts would make "a real difference to university life and the community".

Gather & Gather launched in 2013 and was acquired by foodservice giant CH&Co from Mitie in 2019. As well as providing catering on university campuses, it also has contracts in the media, technology, professional services, retail and stadia sectors.
