Cycas Hospitality takes over management of London's Bankside hotel
Cycas Hospitality is to take over the management of the Bankside hotel in London, part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection.
The change in management follows the hotel's acquisition by Vertiq Capital, who took on the hotel from an affiliate of the Realstar group of companies and joint venture partner Amerimar Enterprises.
Cycas has appointed Zac Pearse as general manager of the 161-bedrtoom hotel. He joins from Malmaison London, where he had spent nine years, and previously managed hotels with the De Vere Group and Guoman and Thistle hotels.
Matt Luscombe, chief executive officer at Cycas Hospitality, said: "We're proud to have added our first luxury property - the intimate Bankside hotel - to our fast-growing portfolio, and very excited to be working with Marriott International on one of their most prestigious London hotels.
"The Bankside hotel's ethos of being a social hub with a passion for their community strongly mirrors Cycas's people-focused values, and we look forward to bringing Cycas's trademark superior service and outstanding guest experience to this culturally-vibrant part of London."
