Crudo to relocate Fitzrovia restaurant

Crudo has announced its restaurant in London's Fitzrovia is moving from Riding House Street to a larger site in adjacent Foley Street on 30 January, which will provide more dining space and the addition of a small wine shop.

Crudo will soft launch from 26 January and serve customisable ceviche bowls, including fresh raw sea bass with leche de tigre, a nikkei bowl with sushi rice, nori and a ponzu leche de tigre and the ‘vegano' with chickpeas, quinoa, avocado and rocoto pepper leche de tigre. All signature bowls are under £11.

Alongside ceviche bowls will be small plates such as pastel de choclo corn cake and avocado and beetroot tartare, and South American cocktails including pisco sour, chilcano and a smoky mezcal negroni.

Towards the back of the restaurant will be a wine shop selling wines from across the globe, with bottles starting from £10.

Maria Yanez and Carlos Socorro launched Crudo in 2019. The couple, both from Venezuela, met in Miami, where ceviche is a popular lunch option, and having moved to London noticed a gap in the market for affordable ceviche.

The Fitzrovia site opened in September 2019 and a site in Old Street followed with some dine-in tables. A site in Mare Street opened in November 2022, which saw the brand evolve to a full service restaurant concept. Another site in Seven Dials will open in February.
