Company of Cooks launches café at the Southbank Centre's Hayward Gallery
London-based independent hospitality business Company of Cooks has launched the café at the newly re-opened Hayward Gallery at the Southbank Centre following a two-year refurbishment.
Inspired by the gallery's global influence, Company of Cooks has created a menu including Asian hot broth (made with tofu, ginger, cumin and chilli), avocado salad with a tahini dressing and butternut squash frittata served with crispy kale.
The drinks selection includes turmeric lattes, "My Cup of Tea" infusions and exceptional coffee made with Monmouth Coffee Company beans.
The new Hayward Gallery Café was designed by architecture and design Studio, Softroom. It features a mural by artist Giles Round and specially commissioned handmade wall.

Company of Cooks was founded by Lucy in 1996. Today, the company has an annual turnover of more than £30m and employs 650 staff. Its current Partners include the Royal Opera House, the National Portrait Gallery, RHS Garden Wisley and Southbank Centre.
