Coldeast Mansion aparthotel sold off guide price of £3.5m
Aparthotel and wedding venue Coldeast Mansion in Sarisbury Green, Hampshire is to reopen after being bought out of administration off a guide price of £3.5m.
Savills, acting on behalf of administrators, has sold the venue to local privately owned company Fern Property Ltd.
Coldeast Mansion has its origins in the 19th century and was recently converted into 37 serviced apartments and function rooms for weddings and events. Its former parent company Coldeast Mansion Ltd entered administration in 2019.
Fern Property have begun an extensive refurbishment programme and plans to reopen the site this month with a new food and beverage offer. This will include casual daytime restaurant the Mansion, six outdoor dining pods, a Library Bar and Admiral Lounge.
Jason Parker, representing Fern Property, said: "The Mansion at Coldeast is a very special property that warrants the flexible and imaginative approach that best suits our company.
"Our primary focus is to create a high quality, well-run hospitality venue that will attract both locals and customers from further afield. We firmly believe that the Mansion will become the go to venue in this area, be that for a cup of Lavazza coffee or a private dining experience for eight under the stars."
The mansion sits on 8.9 acres of green gardens and parklands and backs onto the 70-acre Holly Hill Park and Gardens nature reserve.
