Claude Bosi and Samyukta Nair to open Mayfair bistro this summer
Claude Bosi and Samyukta Nair have announced plans to open French-Mediterranean restaurant Socca Bistro this summer in London's Mayfair.
The venue will pay homage to the coastal towns of Cannes, Marseille and Nice, recreating the nostalgia and flavours of the French Riviera. It has been named after both chickpea flour and the pea flower.
The concept is set to launch at 41 South Audley Street, formerly Richoux restaurant, and will be the fourth opening backed by LSL Capital, founded by Nair and her father Dinesh.
Nair and Bosi met when exchanging on the former Hibiscus site in Mayfair five years ago, which is now Bombay Bustle.
"I am so excited for us to come together to open our restaurant and share our mutual love for beautifully prepared home comforts in the heart of Mayfair," Nair posted on Instagram.
2018 Cateys Chef Award winner Bosi also owns the two-Michelin-starred restaurant at Bibendum in the old Michelin building in Chelsea, which he relaunched in partnership with Sir Terence Conran in 2017.
Nair, co-founder of Jamavar and Bombay Bustle restaurants, also opened MiMi Mei Fair in the capital last summer.
