Chapel Down becomes Ascot's official sparkling wine supplier

English sparkling wine producer Chapel Down has announced it is the official English sparkling wine supplier of Ascot Racecourse.

The Kent wine producer's products have been the sole English sparkling wine served in the main bars of Ascot Racecourse since 2018. It has also been a race sponsor for the past five years.

This official partnership, commences in 2024 and will continue to see Chapel Down as the exclusive English sparkling wine, serving more than half a million racegoers.

As well as featuring on wine lists across the 179-acre racecourse, Chapel Down will also host a series of experiential activations on key race days next year.

Liam Newton, Chapel Down chief marketing officer, said: "We are proud of our award-winning sparkling wines and of our long-lasting relationship with Ascot. We are excited to now be an Official Supplier and to be able to offer racegoers even more opportunities to enjoy a fresher way to celebrate."

Felicity Barnard, commercial director, Ascot Racecourse, added the racecource is "delighted" to extend the relationship with Chapel Down and the partnership will "further extending the offering available to our racegoers as English wine continues to go from strength to strength."

Ascot joins a growing list of partnership's and associations with leading British events which Chapel Down has cultivated in recnet months.

The sparkling wine brand is the official sparkling wine of England Cricket, as well as of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. It also became the official sparkling wine of Tom Kerridge's Pub in the Park, a the UK food and music festival with ten events across the south of England.
