Brewdog confirms Edinburgh hotel to open this year
Brewer and pub group Brewdog has confirmed it will be opening a hotel under its Doghouse brand in Edinburgh in the third quarter of the year.
Posting on Twitter, chief executive James Watt said: "Expect beer on tap in all the rooms, mini-bars filled with the best beers in the planet and fridges in the shower for shower beers."
It has been reported the hotel will open in a former school opposite the city council headquarters on Market Street.
The group's 18-bedroom DogHouse Manchester is due to open in June, joining two properties in Ohio in the US under its Kennels and DogHouse brands, and one Kennels hotel in Aberdeen. The group also has plans to open a craft beer hotel in London.
