BM's Ian Thomas to join BaxterStorey
Ian Thomas, currently chief executive of BM, is set to move over to WSH's sister brand BaxterStorey to take on the role of managing director of its London business.
Having spent the last six years at the helm of BM, it was announced earlier this month that Angus Brydon and Antony Prentice were being promoted to joint managing directors ahead of Thomas' departure.
BaxterStorey also announced that Sarah Miller, who currently holds the role of managing director for BaxterStorey London, will be moving to lead and grow its South region, following the departure of Mack Allan. Allan, the company said, has "decided to explore new opportunities".
Thomas and Miller will both start their new roles on 1 October.
Ronan Harte, chief executive of BaxterStorey, said: "Being open to change and adapting to the current climate is crucial to our success and the fact that we can create opportunities such as these to others within the WSH portfolio demonstrates the value of businesses joining the group.
"Mack joined BaxterStorey as a group manager and has successfully progressed through various leadership roles across the UK, supporting our regional development. We hugely value Mack's hard work and commitment for over two decades and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
BaxterStorey operates hospitality services including restaurants, café bars, deli operations and executive dining rooms, employing more than 5,500 people at over 600 locations, focusing on the business and industry sector.
