Big Fang Collective £5m Imbiba investment to fund expansion
Big Fang Collective, the Liverpool-based entertainment venue operator, has received a £5m investment from leisure investment firm Imbiba.
The investment will allow the Big Fang Collective to continue its expansion, as the group looks to acquire further venues in other cities across the UK, with seven new venues already planned in the next two years.
Founded in 2016 with the creation of Ghetto Golf, which involved the renovation of the 25,000sqft Cains Brewery in Liverpool, Big Fang Collective remodels derelict spaces into experiential multi-site entertainment venues. The group's creative team and local artists cover the spaces in street art and installations as a backdrop to street food offerings, music and crazy golf.
The group has venues in Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow across its Ghetto Golf, Golf Fang and Birdies Bar brands. The group's next venture will be a 38,000sqft multi-concept Sheffield venue that will launch Golf Fang in phase one, closely followed by a Birdies Bar and the group's first food hall.
Imbiba has also invested in Pizza Pilgrims, Vagabond wine bars, Farmer J and the House of Gods hotel brand.
