Antonio Carluccio to host Clink fundraiser
Antonio Carluccio will be at the Clink Restaurant next week to host a lunch to raise awareness and funds for the Clink Charity.
The Italian chef will work with inmates at HMP High Down who are being trained by Catey winner Alberto Crisci in the first fully operational restaurant built within the secure walls of a UK prison.
At the event on Tuesday 20 December prisoners will greet and serve non-alcoholic bucks fizz refreshments to guests on arrival, followed by a four-course Italian lunch cooked and served by the prisoners with the help and close guidance of Antonio Carluccio.
The lunch is priced at £150 per person and proceeds will go directly to the Clink Charity and the work being done to aid the rehabilitation of prisoners.
Please send an e-mail to admin@theclinkrestaurant.com to book your place for this special event quoting "Carluccio 2011".
