Anthony Cox joins QHotels' Norton Park hotel
Former Thyme general manager Anthony Cox has left the property to take up the same role at QHotels' Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House.
The Hampshire countryside hotel has seen recent investment to reposition the property including refurbishing the 16th century manor house, available for exclusive use from this Autumn. Norton Park has 165 bedrooms, including 13 period suites located in the manor house.
Prior to Thyme, Cox managed Danesfield House Hotel & Spa in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and before that was hotel director for the Vineyard Group.
He said: "I'm thrilled to come on board and take the lead in establishing a new look Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House as a high-end four-star resort for both leisure and business guests.
"We're looking forward to introducing our refreshed manor house. It will bring a totally different offering to the hotel, with the opportunity to provide a real home from home for our guests who will now be able to reserve our 16th century countryside bolthole exclusively for short stays and holidays with friends and family as well as businesses that want to reconnect and getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily work life."
The QHotels Collection comprises 21 hotels and resorts across the UK, including individual as well as Hilton, Marriott and Accor-branded properties.
