Andy Manders to step down as Byron CEO
Andy Manders is stepping down as chief executive of burger chain Byron after just a few months in the role for "personal reasons".
Former KPMG executive Manders was hired as chief executive following the departure of company founder Tom Byng earlier this year. Byng remains a shareholder and continues his involvement as an advisor to the board.
The company confirmed a search for a new chief executive is already underway and in the meantime Dalton Philips, Byron's chairman, will act in the role of executive chairman until a new chief executive is in place.
Manders will remain with the business for a few weeks to hand over his responsibilities to Philips and leaves "with the best wishes of the whole business", according to a spokesperson for Byron.
