Amadeus launches chef's table at the ICC Birmingham
Foodservice caterer Amadeus has introduced a chef's table experience within the kitchens of the ICC Birmingham conference venue to showcase its offering to event organisers.
Dine by Amadeus will give prospective clients a taste of what the caterer can provide at the venue.
The space can also be used to accommodate up to nine guests buffet-style or six guests for a sit-down exclusive banquet on event days as part of a package.
Event organisers also have the option of being taken on a tour of the kitchen before stepping into a private space to dine on food prepared by executive chef Simon Hellier and his team.
"The menus the team and I create always use quality ingredients and we pay special attention to the sourcing of them for the millions of dishes we serve every year," said Hellier.
"What makes Dine special is that guests can indulge in a unique and exquisite dining experience that is synonymous with the first-class service and flexible facilities of the ICC. I am looking forward to how the concept is received alongside our comprehensive food and beverage offering."
Amadeus general manager at the ICC, Craig Hancox, said: "We have designed an intimate environment that allows guests to engage with the work that goes into the food, see the production and feel part of the journey. Simon is offering an incredible dining experience that will be particularly beneficial for those wishing to entertain VIPs or guest speakers away from the main delegation.
Among its customer portfolio, Amadeus delivers catering solutions to around four million visitors per year at the NEC Group venues (the NEC, ICC, Resorts World Arena, Arena Birmingham and Vox Conference Venue).
In addition it looks after the foodservice needs of Cadbury World, Compton Verney, Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, Library of Birmingham and Stratford Racecourse among others.
