Ahi Poké announces Spitalfields openings
Hawaiian restaurant Ahi Poké is to open its fourth London site in Spitalfields on Commercial Street this January.
The brand launched by Michelin trained Jeremy Costé, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche first opened in Fitzrovia on Percy Street in June 2016, followed by Victoria in June 2017.
Signature bowls include heat wave, sweet green and the traditional Hawaiian Oahu, all made with sustainable and ethically sourced fish and vegetables from local suppliers.
To celebrate the openings, Costé - who is also executive chef of the group - has teamed up with Psycle CEO and nutritionist, Rhian Stephenson to create a limited edition poké bowl. The bowl will include kale topped with marinated tofu, pickled ginger, kimchi cucumber, coconut roasted sweet potato, burnt corn, coriander and a Green tahini dressing.
He said: "Rather than the usual dread that January brings, for Ahi Poké, things couldn't be more exciting. Not only are we thrilled to be opening two new places in the City, but to team up with Psycle and their fun approach to exercise aligns closely with our attitude to healthy eating!"
