Adam Byatt returns to South London to open latest venture
Acclaimed chef Adam Byatt is set to return to his roots in south London's Clapham Old Town, with the opening of his latest venture Trinity Restaurant at the end of the month.
The former Polygon restaurant site by Clapham Common will be converted into a 60-seater restaurant with private room for 12.
According to Byatt, the modern European menu will be "governed by the watchwords of seasonality, traceability and sophisticated simplicity".
A tasting menu will be available, as well as lunch menus, two courses for £10, three for £14 and a three-course Sunday lunch for £25.
Byatt said: "The fact I've finally secured the site I've always wanted and the involvement of the team that have been with me since the beginning make me incredibly excited to be opening again in Clapham."
Byatt originally ran Thyme restaurant in Clapham which acclaimed critical success, before moving to the Hospital in Covent Garden as executive chef, where he oversaw the relocation of Thyme and its recent reincarnation into Origin Bar and Dining Room. He will remain executive chef at Origin.
