Phil Fanning was a finalist in Junior MasterChef in 1997. The following year he took a job as a commis chef at Danesfield House and worked his way up through the ranks of various kitchens until taking his current role in 2010 as head chef at Paris House, part of the 10 in 8 Fine Dining Company. With Fanning's help the restaurant received a Michelin star after being open for just 10 months.
