Tim Sheed named head chef of 1215 at Fairmont Windsor Park
Tim Sheed has been appointed as head chef of 1215 at Fairmont Windsor Park in Egham.
He is replacing Luke Fouracre, who took on the role last March.
Sheed, former winner of the Sussex Young Chef of the Year, was previously sous chef at the Tudor Room Great Fosters hotel near Windsor, where he helped the team to achieve one Michelin star months after reopening.
Ryan Nicholls, general manager at Fairmont Windsor Park, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Tim to the team as head chef. We look forward to seeing him bring his extensive experience to elevate our fine dining offering on property. We have no doubt his creations will result in truly memorable dining experiences for our guests."
Sheed added: "I'm delighted to be leading the 1215 team at Fairmont Windsor Park and taking the fine dining offering to the next level. I want our guests to enjoy a meal that has a sense of familiarity, but through creative execution and exemplary customer service, is able to delight and leave lasting impressions."
1215 at Fairmont Windsor Park uses locally grown produce from the Royal Farms, Windsor artisans and the hotel's kitchen gardens to serve British cuisine.
The 251-bedroom hotel opened on 1 January and is part of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts collection, which owns 80 hotels, including the Savoy in London, the Plaza in New York City and the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai.
