Amadeus wins £3m in sport catering contracts
Amadeus has secured £3m worth of contracts across two sporting venues in Scotland.
The contract caterer signed a £2m, multi-year agreement with DP World Tour to deliver all the tournament catering requirements for the Genesis Scottish Open golf tournament from 2023 to 2026.
At this year's competition, Events by Amadeus collaborated with chefs Tom Kitchin and Mun Kim to serve breakfast, afternoon tea and run drinks receptions for over 2,400 guests.
The caterer won a contract for a one-off World Cycling event in Glasgow, which saw Events by Amadeus deliver catering solutions for championship family and hospitality clients over the summer.
The foodservice provider also oversaw the catering for the sponsor pavilion, media dining room and concert headliners during the Women's Open golf tournament, as they have done for the past 25 years.
Sam Bates, event director at Events by Amadeus, said: "Taking a bespoke approach to event catering in the sports world, come rain or shine, is the team's forte.
"Catering at outdoor and sporting events provides a unique set of challenges, however, it's a challenge Events by Amadeus always welcomes."
